SE Recycling teams up with Together Trust to help raise donations through recycling IT and electrical equipment.
SE Recycling is pleased to announce that it has teamed-up with Together Trust, one of the North West’s leading disability charities to provide fundraisers and the public with a free IT disposal and recycling service with a chance to raise funds for charity.
For the entire month of October, members of the public, local businesses and fundraisers can drop-off their redundant and unwanted IT equipment at the Together Trust Centre. All redundant equipment is then collected by SER and is sustainably refurbished or recycled. The monetary value raised from the equipment is then donated to the Together Trust.
From October 26th to 27th Together Trust will be accepting donation of all types of IT and electrical equipment including any unwanted computers, laptops and smart devices. Below is the full list of items that can be dropped off at the Together Trust Centre. Alternatively you can visit the charity online here.
The Together Trust was founded 1870 by Leonard Killbe Shaw and Richard Bramwell Taylor as the Manchester and Salford Boys and Girls Refuges and Homes. They aspired to improve the lives of young people neglected by the state. Their work continues today….Based in Cheadle, but working across the North West, Together Trust is one of the leading disability charities.
The charity provides care for people with disabilities, autism and complex health needs and life-changing support for looked-after children and care-experienced individuals.
SE Recycling (Sustainable Electronic Recycling), is an industry leading IT recycling and asset management company that collects and treats redundant and end of life IT equipment. SER is an ethical, sustainable business with a zero tolerance to landfill – refurbishing first and recycling last, putting back into society affordable IT equipment.
“We are delighted to be collaborating with SE Recycling for our Declutter & Donate event this Autumn. It’s great to know that all the electrical donations we receive will be refurbished or recycled safely & securely and not ending up in a landfill. We are honoured that SE Recycling will be donating money raised from the refurbished items to the trust. This will then allow us to continue our care and support for the young people and adults we support in our local community. We look forward to working together more at our future Declutter & Donate events. ” Commented Narelle Hilton, Fundraiser for The Together Trust.
Max Nagle, Marketing Executive and Head of Social Values commented: “We are proud to have teamed up with Together Trust. After seeing all the great support, they provide to people with disabilities. We are passionate about helping our local community and hope that by teaming up with Together Trust we can help raise funds for a great cause whilst simultaneously helping reduce the impact electronic waste has on the environment”
