Kickstart

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new jobs for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment. Employers of all sizes can apply for funding until midday on 17 December 2021 which covers:

Office Administrator / Receptionist (Kickstart)

This role includes answering general enquiries from customers via the phone and doorbell machines, taking and relaying messages from our customers, clients and suppliers. Providing extensive administrative and clerical support for the main office. Receiving letters, parcels and documents and sorting mail and packages to the right department. Collections Department Admin Assistant (Kickstart)

We are looking to recruit an administrative assistant to help support the IT collections department in the collections, processing and reporting of equipment that is collected and processed by the business on behalf of its European client base. Warehouse Operative – IT Recycling Department (Kickstart)

We are seeking an individual to work in the recycling division of our business carrying out a variety tasks linked to sorting, processing and management of various redundant IT products. This role will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of the day working in a warehouse environment. Warehouse Operative – IT Refurbishment Department (Kickstart)

An individual to join our IT refurbishment team carrying out multiple tasks in our preparation, picking & packing department ensuring we deliver quality refurbished IT products sold through multiple channels to our pan-European clients. This role is labour intensive and the individual will be on their feet for the majority of the day in a warehouse environment. Data Destruction Operative (Kickstart)

We are seeking an individual to work in the IT collections and data sanitisation division of our business carrying out a variety tasks linked to sorting, processing and management of various redundant IT products. This role will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of the day working in a warehouse environment. IT Technician (Full-Time)

We are looking to recruit a trainee systems builder to join our IT refurbishment team working specifically on PC’s and later on laptops, gaming systems and other IT equipment. The individual will initially refurbish a variety of PCs to specification and test accordingly ensuring our customers receive a product of high quality. Progression will lead to working on other equipment such as laptops and building gaming PCs from scratch. This role will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of the day working in a warehouse environment. Full-Time Roles

Compliance Administrator (Full-Time)

The role will involve supporting key operations of the business to ensure that internal policies and procedures are adhered to, legal and regulatory compliance is met as required and any potential risk with clients and contractors is mitigated. You will be responsible for all aspects of information security, quality and environmental ISO standard requirements, helping define and enforce policy and best practice across the business as well as validating and coordinating internal and external audit and test activities.

Andes Mountains Hydro Power - Chile

Located in the Tinguiririca River upper valley, this Hydroelectric project is around 120km south of Santiago, Chile. Known as La Confluencia, the 163 MW run of river hydro power plant utilizes the hydrological resources of the Tinguiririca, Portillo and Azufre Rivers, in a run of river scheme to generate and supply zero emission energy to the Chilean central electricity grid (SIC). The power plant generates certified emission reductions (CERs) by displacing electricity generation from grid connected fossil fuel-fired power plants that would otherwise be generating electricity.

Environmental Sustainability

The primary objective of the proposed project is to help meet Chile’s rising demand for energy due to its economic growth and to improve the supply of electricity, while contributing to the environmental, social (job creation in the construction phase, and infrastructure enhancements in surrounding municipalities) and economic sustainability by increasing renewable energy’s share on the Chilean electricity consumption. The Project activity improves the supply of electricity with clean, renewable hydroelectric power while contributing to the regional/local economic development.

Social Development

Through the “Tinguiririca Participa” grant program, the project directly finances proposals presented by community organisation, in areas such as healthcare, education, and social change. In the first year of the program, the joint venture financed 11 projects, while today the number of projects surpasses 200. All of these initiatives are aimed at meeting community needs.

Flora and Fauna

In addition to social projects, reforestation of around 120 hectares around the site has been implemented, helping protect and improve the local flora and fauna, with a specific impact on local Tricahue Parrot, Torrent Duck, Freshwater Catfish, Torrent Duck and Freshwater Catfish species.
