Rullion Continues to Raise Funds for Teenage Cancer Trust

In partnership with SE Recycling (SER), Rullion has successfully raised £303.73 for their chosen charity – Teenage Cancer Trust through the sustainable and ethical recycling of Rullion’s redundant IT equipment.

By SER’s assistance, Rullion is able to ensure that their retired IT equipment is sustainably recycled, refurbished, and reintroduced to the market. SER generates a rebate from these IT collections and encourages our clients to donate these rebates to charities or non-profit organisations. Through this project, companies like Rullion can offer economic support to those in need while also contributing to environmental conservation.

Cancer kills more teenagers and young adults in the UK than any other disease. And for those who survive, going through it without the right support can be devastating – physically and emotionally.

Today, and every day, seven young people will hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need – so no young person faces cancer alone. There’s never been a worse time to receive that news, with healthcare services close to breaking point, waiting times increasing, and diagnosis taking longer.

Our generous donator, Rullion is a recruitment company specialising in staffing solutions, talent consultancy, and managed services across IT, Rail, Utilities, and Nuclear sectors. They help clients develop effective strategies and streamline recruitment processes, aiming to be a trusted partner for major UK brands.

Emma Cross, Teenage Cancer Trust Senior Relationship Manager for the North West & Cumbria said “We are hugely thankful to SE Recycling Ltd and the latest donation from Rullion. Your support helps make sure specialised Teenage Cancer Trust nurses, support teams, and hospital units are there for young people, throughout their cancer treatment and beyond. But we couldn’t do any of this without you. It’s only thanks to donations from our supporters that we can continue to be there for every young person who needs us. From all of us at Teenage Cancer Trust: thank you!”

SE Recycling’s IT Collections Manager, Simon chow said: “Numerous charities and organizations have faced significant challenges due to the pandemic, and we are committed to supporting those affected in every possible way. Rullion’s recycling and fundraising initiatives have been instrumental in helping us reach our goal of creating a sustainable future for everyone.”
