One of our aims is to create a sustainable future for all and one way we do this is through our Sustainable IT Recycling Initiative.
The initiative helps provide economic and environmental support for businesses, charities and non-for-profit organisations across the UK. Working in partnership with SE Recycling, organisations can raise funds by recycling their unwanted and redundant IT equipment. We will collect the equipment from their premises, ensuring all data-bearing equipment is completely erased using government approved Blancco software.
Once all the data has been erased the equipment is then processed, recycled and if possible refurbished and put back into the community. In return, we can generate a rebate that is then given back to the business.

Charitable Donations

Many of our partners choose to turn the rebate they receive from their equipment into financial support for a charity or non-for-profit organisation. On behalf of the business, we will donate some or all of the rebate we generate for the equipment we recycle directly to the charity of choice.

In cases that require regular collections, partners are able to create a sustainable funding stream for their chosen recipient. SER partners can continue to provide economic support whilst helping make the environment that little bit greener.

Continuing to Show Support During the Pandemic

The current pandemic has had a huge impact on businesses and charities alike. For many non-for-profit organisations, the funds they once relied on to operate stopped as the economy was hit by the effects of COVID-19. Now that more businesses are up and running again, they cannot rely on the same type of fundraising initiatives they once took part in pre-COVID. By choosing to recycle and dispose of their IT and WEEE with SE Recycling they can still actively support their chosen charity whilst simultaneously making the environment that little bit greener.
